Step 1: Connect Terminus Data Studio with your Sandbox
If you need to connect with a secondary CRM for pushback testing, follow the steps below to perform "OAuth" (i.e., connect).
- Either clear the browser's cache/cookies or open an incognito browser window. This ensures both you and the API Integration User are logged out of the CRM system.
- Log into https://home.terminusplatform.com/ with your username and password.
- Drill into Data Studio.
- Copy/Paste the following link into the address bar: https://studio.terminusplatform.com/onboarding
- Select the CRM (i.e., HubSpot or Salesforce).
-
Follow the on-screen integration instructions to connect with your organization's testing or sandbox CRM instance. When the CRM-hosted login page appears, make sure to use the API Integration User's credentials instead of your own.
Note: Ensure you OAuth your alternate CRM credentials for pushback testing after adding your production credentials to ensure your Data Studio instance data feed is set up properly. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to the Terminus Help Center for assistance.
Step 2: Install Terminus Insights into your Testing Environment
If you have already installed the Terminus Insights package and/or associated pushback fields in your testing instance, move to the next Step. If not, please follow these installation instructions linked below:
- Terminus Insights for Salesforce: Managed Package Installation & Upgrade Guide
- Terminus Insights for Hubspot: Feature Overview
Step 3: Request your alternate CRM to be enabled on the data pushback service
Once you have connected your alternate CRM credentials to Data Studio, submit a ticket through the Terminus Help Center to request the pushback data feed be enabled for your testing environment — see the sample request below. Once the data feed is enabled by Support, your data will immediately begin to refresh and will refresh nightly going forward.
