Overview
Managing and organizing data exports can be complex and time-consuming for any organization. Fortunately, Audience Builder's Target and Suppression Lists feature provides a powerful solution.
Target Lists allow users to handpick the contacts that are most relevant to them and export only the necessary information. This saves valuable time while improving the overall quality of data.
Suppression Lists are essential for maintaining data quality and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. By excluding irrelevant or outdated contacts from exports, organizations can preserve the integrity of their data. Suppressing unwanted contacts also allows businesses to focus their outreach efforts on prospects who are most likely to engage with their products or services.
By leveraging Audience Builder's Target and Suppression Lists, users can efficiently manage data exports, maintain compliance, and enhance the effectiveness of their outreach campaigns.

How to Add Target & Suppression Lists
A Target List is an excellent tool that helps you focus your efforts on specific companies and individuals that are important to you. By adding a Target List, you can cross-check your prospects with Audience Builder to obtain high-quality data that you might have missed otherwise. On the other hand, Suppression Lists allow you to hide particular contacts or companies from your search results, making it easy to eliminate unwanted data and access only the information you need.
First, you will need to upload your list of contacts or companies by following the steps outlined here.
To apply the list to your search results, click the 'Search' icon on the left-hand side of your screen. Locate the 'Target List' or 'Suppression List' filter and select the list you created from the drop-down menu. When the search is executed, the list will be applied to the search results.
You can also add the list to a search from the lists menu by clicking the '+' icon to the right of the list title in the 'Actions' column. Clicking the icon will redirect you to the search page, and the search will run automatically.
