What is a Quota?
Quota is number of contact credits available for your organization to access. The number of credits is determined during the sales process with your DemandScience Intelligence sales representative. To add additional credits beyond this original amount, you can contact the sales department by clicking here.
Your organization is granted a quota which is shared among all active team members. All members of your team will draw from this common pool of credits until its balance is exhausted. When your organization's credit quota is exhausted, it is depleted for all users in your account, regardless of individual limits set. Credits are drawn from the common pool on a first-come-first-served basis.
Limiting Individual Quotas
As a Manager, you have the option to set a limit of how many contact credits your team members have access to. We suggest limiting quotas to ensure all team members have an equal share of the allocation. This can also be viewed as a preventative measure, by removing the ability for any one user to exhaust your organization's credit balance intentionally or unintentionally.
Limiting a user's quota is completed on the Manager tab in the Team Accounts section. Simply click on the users email address and a pop-up box will appear with an option to limit the quota. The two fields that require an update are 'Optional individual limit' & 'Limit remaining'. Both fields should have a value entered.
Example: In the image below, the 'Optional individual limit' has been set to 500, as well as the 'Limit remaining'. You must add a value in the 'Limit remaining' field. Leaving this field blank will result in the user having a quota limit, but no credits available for use.
