Klarity seamlessly links with your Salesforce.com account. Why hassle with downloading a list and then uploading it to your CRM. Save yourself some time by making the process more efficient. By following these few simple steps, you will be able to import Contacts directly into Salesforce.
1. Click on the User Menu>Integrations.
2. Click on the Salesforce toggle button to enable the integration.
3. On the next screen click "New authentication". This will prompt you to enter your name for authentication purposes. After adding your name, click the Finish button.
4. Set Your authentication name. By default it will show your name, followed by Salesforce account. Make sure the Salesforce instance type drop down box is set to Production to connect to your production environment. Clicking the Create button will save the information you entered as your connection point on the DemandScience Klarity side.
5. You'll then be prompted to enter your Salesforce credentials to log into your account.
6. Next, click the "Finish" button to grant permission for the connection to be formed.
Field Mapping
Next, you will need to map company and contact fields from the export to your Salesforce account.
On the integrations page click on 'View settings'.
Choose the mapping type you would like to configure.
Make sure your Salesforce account is listed and click 'Next' to proceed.
Enter an optional Campaign ID. This can be used to tag all of your exports with a certain value. If you choose to add a Campaign ID, you will need to map the ID to a specific field in Salesforce. Click 'Next' to proceed.
Please note: You should check the 'Convert US 2- letter State Value to Full Name State' box if your Salesforce account stores the full name of the State. By default, all exports have the State name abbreviated.
Map the Company fields then click the "Next" button.
Map the Contact fields, then click the "Finish" button.
The next time you log into your Salesforce account, you will see all the contacts you downloaded. Please be advised, this process will not add duplicate records to Salesforce if a contact in your database already exists based on the email address of the record. You will however incur a charge for the export as you are downloading information from Klarity. We encourage you to use the Suppression List feature to avoid being charged for records you already own.
