Where does DemandScience get its data from?
DemandScience gathers data from a diverse set of confidential external sources and then verifies the data internally under a rigorous proprietary QA process.
External sources of data include:
- Specialized third-party data vendors
- Publicly available databases
- Strategic data partnerships
- Manual research and investigations
Our proprietary QA process:
Using machine learning and AI, we process millions of data points daily to build and continuously refresh company and contact profiles. Our dedicated data research team validates key data points using proprietary verification technology to help ensure accuracy and reliability. This multi-source, algorithm-driven approach enables deep data coverage and industry-leading data quality.

- Intent data is refreshed weekly to reflect the most recent buyer behavior.

What is DemandScience’s Data Ecosystem?
The DemandScience Data Ecosystem is the foundation of all our data and demand generation processes. It uniquely combines:
- First-party B2B data
- Third-party data sources
- Recorded engagement and interactions from content syndication campaigns
This ecosystem enables richer insights, stronger intent signals, and more effective demand generation.
How does DemandScience verify mobile and phone numbers?
All phone numbers are processed through proprietary phone validation technology to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable Do Not Call (DNC) registries and before being used in our products and services.
How does DemandScience ensure the data I receive is accurate?
All data is certified and scored for accuracy before entering the DemandScience data vault, where it powers our products, services, and solutions.
- Contact data is continuously monitored and re-verified every 30 days.
- Only data that meets quality thresholds is made available to customers.
How scalable is DemandScience’s data?
Our Data Ecosystem infrastructure is purpose-built for scale. It is designed to support the complex requirements of executing global, high-volume B2B marketing and demand generation campaigns.
Does DemandScience use partner data?
Yes. We work with specialist third-party data providers to enhance specific data attributes—such as technographic data—where partner expertise adds incremental value.
Does DemandScience use LinkedIn as part of its data process?
Yes. DemandScience may reference publicly available information from LinkedIn as a validation source for job titles to help confirm that a contact holds a specific role at a given company at a point in time.
Compliance note: DemandScience does not scrape LinkedIn, store LinkedIn credentials, or violate LinkedIn’s terms of service. LinkedIn is used solely as a secondary validation reference, alongside other permitted data sources, as part of our broader data quality and compliance framework.
Why are some contacts missing an email address?
Some contacts may not currently have an email address but can still provide significant value:
- They may include direct-dial or mobile phone numbers, supporting phone-based or phone-heavy outreach strategies.
- They often have verified LinkedIn profiles that can be accessed directly.
- They are still active employees at the associated company and remain valuable for intent tracking and engagement insights.
Additionally, the absence of an email today does not mean one will not be acquired in the future. These contacts remain part of our ongoing enrichment, verification, and intent monitoring processes.
