How does DemandScience Collect Data for Audience Builder?
DemandScience collects business intelligence from multiple publicly available sources. We search through publicly available sources.
We continuously scan and analyze millions of public records across the web to identify and extract professional contact and company-level information. This process uses advanced big data and forensic techniques to ensure relevance and accuracy.
Before any data is made available in Audience Builder, it undergoes multiple layers of quality assurance, validation, and testing to ensure the information is reliable and up-to-date.
What Types of Email Addresses Are Included?
Audience Builder Contacts include business-specific email addresses only.
DemandScience does not collect or store personal, non-business email addresses. All email data is associated with an individual’s professional role or company affiliation and is sourced from public business contexts.
How to Handle a Data Deletion Request
If someone contacts Support and asks to have their information removed, follow these steps.
1. Gather the Required Information
Before taking any action, make sure you have the person's:
- Full name
- Business email address
- Phone number, if available
2. Search in Audience Builder
Go to the Contacts tab in Audience Builder and search for the person's information.
- If you find the contact, delete or deactivate the record according to your team's process.
- If you cannot find the contact, use the GDPR/CCPA Request macro in Zendesk.
3. Send the GDPR/CCPA Response
Use the following message:
