To add new intent topics to your tracked list, follow the steps below:
Within the Intent Navigator configuration settings, in the "Topics" tab, you can search for specific topics or filter by topic theme and category by selecting the "Edit Topics" option in the top right-hand corner.
Note: When selecting topics to track, you may see multiple of the same topic listed. Be sure to check the "Theme" and "Category" columns to ensure you are selecting the most relevant topic for your needs.
Set threshold for Scoring
By default, the Composite Score Threshold is set to a score of 60 for all DemandScience customers. This score indicates the intensity to which a business is demonstrating intent on a particular topic compared to its historical baseline. Scores range from 0 to 100, where scores above 60 are demonstrating active intent.
If you would like help strategizing on your topic selection before confirming or adjusting your composite score threshold, please reach out to your CSM to assist.
To remove intent topics from your tracked list, follow the steps below
Within the Intent Navigator feature, click on the "Configuration" tab, and then select "Topics".
There, you will see a list of your current tracked topics.
In order to remove a topic from your tracking list, select the "X" button on the far right-hand of the row. Then, select "delete" on the confirmation message.
Note: Before removing a topic, it is a good idea to ensure that the topic is not being leveraged in any segment rules or other automations outside of our platform. Removing a topic that is actively being used in other configurations could cause errors.
